The Self-stems machine (machine for buttons with rivets) it consists of an intermittent rotating turret with 6 stages, to receive the buttons by means of a traditional automatic loader with disk and cadence device, while the rivets are supplied by a spiral vibrator and a corresponding selector.

Then the rivet is automatically shorn to a perfect length; afterwards it is bent in order to obtain always the same size of the stem, independently from the button thickness.

The button-holder turret is operated by an oil bath and hardened Maltese cross, while the shearing and the bending of the stem are carried out by a pneumatic device.

The pneumatic bending cylinders are equipped with stop sensors; if one of them doesn't work regularly, the machine stops automatically.
The button loader and the rivet selector are equipped with sensors to check the "PRESENCE OF THE PIECES".

The stemmed buttons are automatically taken by suction and put in the suitable drawer.
The electric push-button panel with 24 volt-controls is equipped with an electric production counter.

The SELF-STEMS shapes the stem and it decorates as well the button centre with a spherical metal piece.
